Welcome to a brand new workshop. Whilst the Five Spirits and Eight Extraordinary Vessels are ancient Chinese medicine concepts, this is a unique merging of them, looking at how they can be used to treat each other. The Five Spirits will be reviewed before looking at how each of the Eight Extraordinary Vessels can be used to treat Spirit imbalances. This is done through using Excess, Deficiency and Balancing or Regulating acupuncture point combinations. For example, we will explore Shén Excess/Shí and the Yáng Qiāo Mài. Over 50 acupuncture point combination treatments will be discussed, and practiced.
This is a rare opportunity to catch David Hartmann’s teaching in the UK while he is here from Australia.
Foundation
Included in this course is a 2.5hr online course which you will get access to upon booking. Participants are taken on a journey through the foundations of the Eight Extraordinary Vessels. We will explore their history, functions, when and how to use, as well as contraindications. Each of the 8 Vessels is given a dedicated 15 minute session to look at their opening/coupled points, functions, as well as acupuncture point combination treatments. It is the perfect workshop to ensure participants are familiar with the Eight Extraordinary Vessels thereby ensuring the live two-day workshop is easier to follow.

Cancellation Policy
There is a non-refundable deposit of £50, if you cancel your application at any time after booking. Refunds for cancellations after 1st October 2022 will not be made except if applicant has proof of positive Covid test, in which case, a full refund (minus the non-refundable deposit of £50) will be made. Course fees are non-transferable.
